Instructions

  • In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Cook until the pork belly is browned on all sides.
  • Combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, gochujang, garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • To combine, stir everything together.
  • Bring to a boil with the water.
  • Reduce to a low heat and cook for 2 hours, or until the pork belly is tender.
  • Stir in the spinach for 2-3 minutes, or until wilted.
  • Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
